Sight

Time has drawn shadows around my eyes.

Lines etch memories around my smile.

I can still cartwheel though in an open field on a sunny day, dandelions tickling my ankles.

I can see more clearly now than I ever have. Progressives.

Wisdom comes in a vitamin for 40+ year old women.

I drink fruit-flavored tea to party, and a Friday night in is a hot night out.

Soft pajamas matter more than trendy dresses.

Yet I am still made of stories that could spark your passion in one telling. I am a whole book of stories.

Time has drawn shadows around my eyes.

Soft, billowy shadows.

If you look inside them there is a brightness and sight that only comes with time.

Sight that paints a bold, swirling picture of the beauty I have lived.
